Cookies/Tracking

The Site uses cookies and tracking to collect certain information (in particular, your IP address, information relating to the computer used for browsing, the connection mode, the type and version of the Internet browser, the system of 'operation and other technical identifiers or the URL address of connections, including the date and time, as well as the content accessed), and for the purpose of improving and personalizing the Site and/or measuring its hearing.

Cookies are files saved on the hard drive of your terminal when you browse the Internet and in particular on the Site. A cookie is not used to collect personal data without your knowledge but to record information relating to your navigation on the Site which can be directly read by the FFT during your visits and subsequent requests on the Site. Some cookies can also be used to store the contents of a shopping cart, others to save the language settings of a site, and still others to perform targeted advertising.

A cookie contains several pieces of data: the name of the server that placed it, an identifier in the form of a unique number, possibly an expiration date. This data is sometimes stored on your terminal in a simple text file which a server accesses to read and record information.

The regulations provide that websites must obtain your consent before the deposit of cookies, tell you what they are used for and how you can oppose them. In practice, a message must appear when you connect to the site for the first time to tell you how to accept or, on the contrary, refuse cookies.

The Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés specifies, however, that audience measurement tools may be exempted from obtaining consent, provided that the following conditions are met: (1) deliver clear and complete information; (2) offer an objection mechanism accessible on all terminals; (3) not cross-check the data collected with other processing systems; (4) use cookies only for statistical production purposes (anonymous); (5) not allow the navigation tracking of Internet users on other sites; and (6) not keep audience measurement cookies beyond 13 months (from the first visit).

The Site also uses tools for analyzing and monitoring referencing, Internet traffic data (audiences), in order to improve its quality and performance and to send targeted advertisements.

The cookies installed on the Site can be installed by means of tag management solutions called "tag management". Tags are the means used to facilitate the collection and sharing of data between a website and the various technologies used by this site that rely on this data (analytics platforms, marketing providers, for example). A tag (sometimes called a pixel or beacon) is therefore the means by which data is collected on a website.

Tags power e-marketing and web analytics. More specifically, they make it possible to address requests to web browsers in order to collect data, set cookies, increase audiences between multiple websites, embed third-party content on a website (for example, social media widgets, video players, ads, etc.).

If you choose to refuse all cookies, your navigation may be reduced to access certain pages or benefit from certain features of the Site. The purpose of the cookies used by the FFT is to enable or facilitate communication, to enable the provision of services requested by users, to recognize users on a future visit, to secure the payments that users may be required to make, to record the language spoken by users or other preferences necessary for the provision of the requested service.

By default, cookies are not automatically installed on the Site (with the exception of cookies necessary for the operation of the site and the services of the FFT, the installation of which is indicated to you by a banner). In accordance with applicable regulations, we will require your authorization before installing any other type of cookie on your device.

When you access third-party sites from the Site, cookies are likely to be created by the companies displaying advertisements on the Site. These sites are responsible for the cookies they set and it is their provisions relating to cookies that apply. The FFT assumes no responsibility for the possible use of cookies by these sites. For more details, you are advised to consult directly on these advertisers' or third-party sites their policy on the use of cookies.

In accordance with the regulations in force, the cookies deposited on your terminal have a lifespan limited to 13 months after their first deposit in the user's terminal (following the expression of consent). At the end of this period, your consent will have to be collected again.

You have the option of disabling cookies from your browser settings.

You will find more information about cookies on the CNIL website (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/site-web-cookies-et-autres-traceurs/https://www.c... ).
