The conclusion of the first round, the start of the second, Novak Djokovic’s opening match and five French players in action: here’s what to expect on Tuesday on the courts of the Plenitude Arena.

A French-Flavoured morning

Centre Court will open with two matches featuring French players. From 11am, Arthur Rinderknech and Francisco Cerundolo (No.16) will meet for the first time on the main tour.

Fresh off his title at the Brest Challenger after an outstanding season, Moise Kouame will follow them onto court against Nuno Borges, lucky loser following the withdrawal of Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (No.13).

Then, the seven-time Paris champion will round off the day session: Novak Djokovic will attempt to claim his first career victory over Valentin Vacherot! The Monegasque won their only previous meeting, in the Shanghai semifinals in 2025.

The night session in Europe’s largest indoor arena will offer lucky ticket holders two second-round matches. Not before 7pm, Ben Shelton (No.3) will begin his campaign against Cameron Norrie, who defeated Matteo Arnaldi in his opening match.

Then, Casper Ruud and Rafael Jodar (No.9) will have the honour of bringing the second day of main-draw action to a close (not before 8:30pm). It will be an opportunity to see the Spaniard make his first appearance on the indoor courts in Paris...

Tuesday promises a packed schedule, with fans on the outside courts also having plenty of opportunities to cheer on the French players! From 11am on Court 1, Quentin Halys will take on rising British talent Arthur Fery, who will be making his Rolex Paris Masters debut.

Not before 3:30pm, Benjamin Bonzi, who came through qualifying in impressive fashion over the weekend, will face Taylor Fritz (No.11).

Finally, Jan-Lennard Struff (special exempt) and French wildcard Arthur Gea will feature in the last match on court, much to the delight of the home crowd.

The rest of the second round will also feature plenty of exciting matchups on Wednesday, including the opening matches of Carlos Alcaraz (No.2), Arthur Fils (No.6) and Alex de Minaur (No.8).
